Frances is a brave woman, and she also has a kindness heart. Although her marriage doesn’t have happy ending, she still dares to dream. All endings are beginnings, we just don’t know it at the time.
In the film Frances sacrifices for her friend, because her friend needs her. She opens another way to her lie. Maybe it is a challenge to her, but she through step by step. Finally, make her dream come true.
There are several characters in the movie that are closely related to Frances. The Polish workers in the movie, because of the racial the polish worker is not approved. Frances helps him and encourage he to make hay while the sun shines. However, because Frances encourages finally he also gets the approved. Katherine is brave to be herself, because of her. She teaches Frances how to be brave face everything. Patti, I think she is brave, too. Because she finally had a baby and give Frances a home at the same time.
France experienced a bitter divorce and moved to an exotic place, but she still always help other people like family. Sometimes friends are closer and more like family, just do the right thing for people who you think they worthy. No matter who you really are and there is always someone looking for you. They loved because that person is you. Everyone should take action with a dream and be strong for a reason. If the heart has no place to perch on, you will always be a drifter no matter where you are.
First, the faucet without any water symbolize Frances’s heart dry and die. Both can be fixed, but need to take how long? Nobody knows. Like Frances divorce with her husband and she opens her new life, because of it. She opens her mind to face many things.
Second, I think is that Frances meets Katherine, when Frances first meets Katherine her charming deeply attract Frances attention. And when they know each other deeply Katherine change Frances, she always does some crazy things live out of herself. And because of it, Frances want to change her life just like Katherine.
Third, I think is those workers and all of Frances friends, because of them; Frances has a wonderful family and has a wonderful life.
Last, the ladybug is signified, love. When Frances said:”You find it!” Not only find the ladybug, also they find love in each other. Final, the boxes of books are Frances only want to keep, those books should help her tough the hard time out, but when she got those books, everything is already fine. There has lots of help from others, can’t see, can’t touch, but all are real.
I think this movie is encouraged, Frances is a fantastic and strong woman, she deserves to be loved. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to. We all need to learn from Frances because we need to be kind that good thing will happen. Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results.
