World Jamboree
I want to share my special experience in a big scout rally held in National Pingtung University Of Science And Technology.
You may ask what’s so special about the scout rally in Pingtung. Well, first, this my first time going to for a week-long camping. I was so excited to be in the rally. And second, And it’s a world jamboree, There were hundreds of boy and girl many scouts from all over the world in the jamboree. I was able to make friends with foreign scouts.
One of the most unforgettable things in the jamboree waiss parachuting. When I stood on the parachuting tower, I shouted my dream out loud, and prepared to jump. However, for some reason, I couldn’t move my feet. I asked the coach behind me to push me down. She then kicked me out of the tower after counting to three. I screamed all the way down to the earth. It’s not because I was scared, just because my chin was hit by something I was not so sure. It’s really exciting and fun.
We also played games and learned survival skills. We pitched our tent, tied knots, king a fire, cookout …etc. These are valuable experiences to me. During the seven-day jamboree, I learned to work with my partners and establish trust in our relationship. I also learned how to be independent and confident, as well as to helped each others one person voluntarily. Though all things we were asked to complete everything by ourselves, we helped each other to get difficult things done. I knew I have a warm and happy scout family at that momentwe.
