My Most Embarrassing Experience
When I was in fifth grade, I participated in an English story telling competition. It was my most unforgettable but also the most embarrassing experience.
I started to prepare for the competition two month before it was held. To avoid telling the same story with other competitors, I wrote my own story. I also made my stage props and practiced again and again in front of my closet mirror. Everything seemed perfect and I thought I would do well on the coming competition.
But something serious happened in the week before the competition. I caught a bad cold and could hardly speak! Though the cold was much better on the day of the competition, I sneezed out loudly when I was telling the last paragraph!
How embarrassing! The judges were all shocked and their smile suddenly disappeared.
This unforgettable experience gave me a lesson: The most important thing to do before a competition is to stay healthy!
