This will be my first Christmas in Wenzao. I’ve never really celebrated Christmas before, well not exactly, though, it’s just like it never felt like Christmas. Our school(not elementary, something like a cram school ) will have a party on Christmas Eve every year, what we have to do is that every class has to prepare a show and perform on that day. It never felt like Christmas, to me, I think it’s more like a parents’ day. You know, when many parents come and they’ll see what you’ve learned this year. What fun is this? I remember we did a drama one year, I played a reindeer and I had red makeup all over my face, I think I looked l more like a corpse. But, that wasn’t the worst. The worst was probably the one three years ago. Our teacher wanted us to play Cinderella. We practiced for about two weeks, then the teacher told us that he thinks that this play was too long, and maybe we should just change the show. Guess what? It was just two days before Christmas Eve. Our class ended up shaking tambourines and dancing to the Chicken Little song. Anyway, it was a disaster, and so embarrassing! I don’t want to talk about it. This December is great, I mean, so far. I like the activities about Christmas Wenzao held. The Christmas tree made by lights(real cool), the decorating and all sorts. So I’m really looking forward to the English Department’s Christmas party which is this Friday and my class’s Christmas party on next Monday. I have a feeling that this Christmas is going to be real different and full of surprises.
To everyone: Wish you a Merry Christmas!!
